My folks have a place on Tippy Dam Rd right by the dam, I have fished up and down that river from Tippy to the mouth in my river boat but have never considered floating the whole stretch.. I don't think most people understand how far that is and that was only a 1/4 of your trip!!! Hats off to you brother.. Drone footage rising above the fog was truly the best shot I think I've seen!! Yes, float hunting and trapping are permitted in Michigan on and along waterways that are surrounded by public land and open to hunting. However, Michigan law states that firearms must be unloaded and enclosed in a case, unloaded and carried in the trunk of a vehicle, or unloaded in a motorized boat. In Roscommon County, Michigan, hunting with a loaded firearm in a motorboat is a violation that can result in a $295 fine.

Meanwhile commercial boats both American and foreign are dragging nets and destroying thw Salmon quotas.

Just found your channel. I live in Cedar (Leelanau County). Just bought an older 16' tracker and wanna throw some lines in the water. Have no idea what I'm doing....LOL. I have patients that head over to Lake Erie for some Walleye fishing. They bring me fish and it's so delicious. It's time to start catching my own.

This was another great adventure trip! My favorite style of fishing is adventure fishing and most of your videos are absolutely that. The camping, fishing and exploring is what I love to do and you have the best channel in Michigan if not the country. Keep doing what you do bro!

It's crazy how many people just throw their trash everywhere but they want to fish the fish I see it a lot ice fishing it's like the ice is some sort of trash dump always picking people's trash up

This trip was so awesome I watched it twice in 2 weeks. I really like this style of video (on the river), you could do fewer miles and fish more for my liking. Actually, now I want to do part of this trip this coming fall as a cast and blast weekend.

I was super excited to see the Silver Creek sign. I know the area VERY well. My parents live about 20 miles from there and our family vacation place is 2 miles from their house. There's several little creeks back towards Brimley. There's also a super cool flooding north of Paradise called Shelldrake. It's an absolutely amazing area. We fished a few of the creeks a few weeks ago, but didn't get anything. Loved the video. I'm incredibly jealous, in a good way lol

If you find a flat rock you can rub the top of a can back and forth on it and it should wear down the steel so the lid can be popped off…love the videos..rock on brother!
